A Birther struck up a conversation with me in the book store yesterday. He said we will have a new President this year, that things are in the final stages. He said he was a Bishop, was 70 years old and lived in the Villages in San Jose. He went on to say that he is a disabled vet and he is in pain everyday and the pain is made worse by knowing the President is not a citizen of the United States.
What a lovely gentleman. I guess I was just old enough and just white enough that he felt completely comfortable chatting away.
