Bill Hits the Home Run

What Hillary lacked in support for Barack, Bill Clinton supplied. Bill actually endorsed Barack for President. Hillary’s speech was an, “It’s all about me,” speech. Bill’s was, “Obama’s ready to be President,” speech–in spite of all the things he’s slammed Obama during the primaries. Clinton is a pro and he showed it tonight.

  1. He sure did hit out out of the park! Of course, that message, “Obama’s ready to be president,” is something he is uniquely qualified to assert. Or at least more qualified than she is…

Her speech was a lot about her, I agree as well. Maybe it had to be because of the (real or perceived?) enduring ire of Hillary supporters, I don’t know. But I did like the power of the section in which she asked, “Were you in it for me?” and telling her people that was the wrong reason. I thought it was a good lesson in being classy — and still having it be about her 🙂

  2. Has it ever not been about Hillary? I have never seen it. Ever since “the incident” she is all anyone talks about.

  3. I missed Bill. News clip I caught was a hoot where they reminded us he said they said he didn’t have enough experience. Who does really?

  4. 😀 I was thrilled to see President Clinton endore Obama. Our country has more respect for President Clinton than the media would like us to believe. And with this endorsement Obama will be a stronger force in Nov. Hillary also “hit it out of the park” speaking to her supporters (all 18 million of them). They will be ready to make a change come Nov. I loved her “were you in it for me” too!! Hillary rocks. I can’t wait for tonight. There is a change coming.

  5. Love him or hate him, in the world of politics, Bill Clinton is a rock star. He loves the camera and the camera loves him. The ultimate political pro, he did exactly what needed to be done.
